Fayed To Black

What a difference a day makes! Today, it's not raining and the winds are almost completely calmed. It's still overcast, but you can't have everything. It looks like Fay may yet become a hurricane and whack the northeast part of Florida, and then sweep west across the Panhandle. If it does, then just about the entire state will eventually be affected by the storm, from the Keys up to Jacksonville and across to Pensacola. The rainfall has been beneficial for most areas, however.

Yesterday was an excellent day for sleeping, and I got several hours worth. It wasn't much of a day for anything else. I told a friend at work that I'd had enough of the tropical storm season for this year, and that someone else would have to get the rest of the action in 2008. That may be too much to ask for.
