Something Cool

Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit pointed me to this post at Below The Beltway which shows a really cool picture from the NASA web site: The Earth and Moon as seen from Mars. Have you ever seen both the entire Earth and the entire Moon in the same picture before? I don't think that I have.

The picture was taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera, at a distance of 142 million kilometers (88 million miles) from Earth. Be sure to click on the picture to see the larger version of the picture.
