I'm currently reading Michael Crichton's novel Next, which came out last November. I found it among the new books at the library when I returned some books on Saturday. So far, it's an interesting and thought-provoking book about the ways that genetic engineering is changing our lives and our society, ways that most of us are aware of only dimly if at all.
